Hello fellow pilgrims

sorry that i have posted nada on this blog for a very long time... believe it or not we have been sans broadband for 2 months now and this does not help for regular blogging. Anywhos, open house is alive and well and we've been enjoying working our way through some of Jesus' words on the Kingdom. I will be updating the links pages over the next few weeks with various resources and bits and pieces so please come back and visit soon... and of course you are always welcome to join us at open house

Kingdom Thinking

Hi Guys, sorry for minimal posting over the last few months, my blogging discipline isnt what it should be. Our next open house is this tuesday 24th July from 7pm onwards. We're gonna be looking at the idea of 'kingdom' and specifically trying to figure out what Jesus was talking about when he kept using this word. To me, kingdom is something that is 'much said, but little understood', so thats kinda going to be our launch off point. hope to see u there

Next Open House ... Tues 27th March

Hi everyone, apologies for lack of posting and for very dodgy Tim Hughes album covers!
I read this quote yesterday and thought it was worth a wider audience... 'The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labour and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion .... he hardly knows which is which.... He simply pursues his vison of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both' James Michener

Next Open House

Hi guys, open house meets this Tues 13th March from 7 onwards. Keep coming back to these wonderful words of Jesus, "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."Matt 11
He's what its all about!
